1976 Washington Bicentenial Quarters
In 1976 the United States Mint issued commemorative coins to celebrate the bicentennial of the Declaration of Independence and the founding of the United States of America in 1776. The commemorative coins went into circulation replacing the regular issue quarters during that year.
